ALGONA—Funeral services for Mrs. Marcella Armstrong, 80, Algona, who died Wednesday at the Algona hospital, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, Algona. Msgr. W.B. Bauer will be celebrant, and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Algona.
Friends may call after 7:30 p.m. today at Wilson’s Funeral Home, Algona. Scripture reading will be 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by the parish rosary at 8 p.m. Family service will be 9:55 a.m. Saturday.

Mrs. Marcella Erdman of Livermore will be married to Charles Armstrong of Livermore, Monday, Nov. 27th, in Algona. The couple will be attended by Mr. and Mrs. Milton Worby of LuVerne. Mrs. Erdman formerly lived in Algona. Mr. Armstrong operates two trucks and a filling station at Livermore. A wedding dance will be held at the Livermore hall, Monday evening.

Charles Lee Armstrong, son of James A. and Dora Armstrong, was born June 1, 1892, at Leavenworth, Kan., and departed this life March 5, 1949. He spent most of his life in Kossuth and Humboldt counties.
Feb. 25, 1925 [sic], he was united in marriage to Alma Riley, and to this union four children were born. They are Milton, Earle, Floyd and Conald [sic], all residing in Livermore. Mrs. Armstrong preceded her husband in death in October of 1937. Mr. Armstrong’s parents, one sister, Mildred, and a brother, Zelora, also preceded him in death.
