The wedding of Mr. Charles E. Bowman and Miss Dorothy Chittenden took place Friday at noon at the home of the parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. E.H. Chittenden, two and a half miles southeast of Garrett.
J. Marion Small, pastor of the Garrett Christian church, officiated. The bride was attired in blue silk. Fifteen relatives witnessed the ceremony and were guests at the dinner that followed.
Mr. and Mrs. Bowman motored to Kimmell Saturday and returned Monday evening. They will make their home in the Bowman farm, a short distance north of the Chittenden homestead.
