MAUCHMAR—Mrs. Sarah Ellen Mauchmar, aged 75, formerly of Wayland, widow of Burdette Mauchmar, passed away Monday night in the Grandville Nursing Home after a lingering illness. She is survived by four sons, Richard, Robert and James Downing of Grand Rapids, and Kenneth Downing of Las Vegas, Nevada; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Myrtle) Dau[unclear] of Grand Rapids; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Mauchmar was a member of the Church of Christ and the Order of Eastern Start at Wayland. Mrs. Mauchmar reposes at the Alt Mortuary where funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10:30. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.
