Wm. Rorick died last Monday at the home of his sister in Sussex county, New Jersey, where in the days of his declining strength from consumption he had been tenderly cared for. He leaves a wife and little child, two sisters and one brother, Jacob Rorick, of Grand Dalles, Oregon [sic]. The deceased was well known in this township, where he had resided for some years and was a successful teacher in several districts, also at one time being school inspector. Later he engaged in newspaper work in his brother’s office at Bad Axe, Mich., where he was married. He also did reportorial work on a Saginaw daily, and only ill health prevented him from achieving excellent success in such service. Together with a bright, active intellect, he possessed a genially social nature, and had many friends, as well as numerous relatives, who deeply regret his death in early manhood
