Emma Frances was a dear, happy and lovable child.  During her short stay on earth the little smiling face and winsome way combined with a happy disposition won for her a place in the hearts of all who knew her.  The opening bud was plucked and conveyed to Heaven, bade to blossom there, e’er care and sorrow could blight and fade it here.

The bearers were John Bryant, Ned Baldwin, Paul Spear and Maurice Spear.  Relatives and friends who attended the service from away were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Baldwin of Howell; Mr. and Mrs. Ned Baldwin of Tecumseh; Mrs. Richard Rogers and two children, of Ypsilanti; Mrs. Bernice Austin of Hudson and a number of friends and neighbors of the family from Waldron.  The burial was in Oak Grove cemetery.
