Wedding News from the 1920s

Invitations have been issued by Mr. and Mrs. John Rorick to the wedding of their daughter, Miss Marie Rorick, and Russell Raymond, son of Mr. and Mrs. S.W. Raymond of this city, the ceremony to take place Thursday evening, October 1, at 8:30 o’clock in the First Presbyterian church.  A reception is to be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rorick of 403 Toledo street after the ceremony.  (Adrian Daily Telegram, September 14, 1925)

The wedding of Miss Marie Rorick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Rorick, and Russell Raymond, son of Mr. and Mrs. S.W. Raymond is to be solemnized at 8 o’clock in the evening at the First Presbyterian church. after the service a reception is to be held for the relatives at the Rorick home on East Toledo street.  (Adrian Daily Telegram, September 28, 1925)

Saturday afternoon at the M.E. parsonage occurred the marriage of Miss Margaret Lockwood, of this place, and Veryl Palmer, of Flint.  The ring service was used by Rev. Nash who performed the ceremony.  Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kube, of Flint, accompanied the young people.  Their many friends here wish them great happiness.  (Clare Sentinel, March 5, 1926)
