Mrs. Fannie Titman Mead

Mrs. Fannie Titman Mead, wife of Eli Mead, passed away at her home on Avenue K, Matamoras, on Sunday morning at 1 o’clock, after an illness of eight months.

Deceased was born at Dingmans and a daughter of Mrs. Hannah Broadhead Titman and the late John C. Titman, of Dingmans. She was 40 years of age. On July 8th, 1905, she was united in marriage to Eli Mead, of Port Jervis. She was a member of the Epworth M.E. Church, Ladies’ Aid and Epworth League.

Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Frances, one son, Donald, at home; her mother, Mrs. Hannah Titman, of Matamoras; six sisters, Mrs. Chester Snyder, Mrs. Martin Clark, Mrs. Thomas Clarke, of Matamoras; Mrs. James Greenhaigh of West End, Mrs. John Whittaker and Mrs. William Rettallik, of Dingmans, and one brother, Harry Titman, of Matamoras.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the house. Interment will be in Pine Grove cemetery.
