Fresno Woman To Be Bride Of Justice Walling
Mrs. Mattie E. Johnson of Fresno and Ernest Walling of Fresno, formerly of Madera, will be united in marriage Sunday, July 11th, at the First Congregational church in Fresno, it was recently announced.
Mr. Walling, justice appointee of the third township justice court of Fresno, lived in Madera for several years. Ernest Walling is the brother of Jesse Walling he is the brother of Jesse Walling [sic] and John Walling of Fowler and George Walling of Fresno and Huntington Lake.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mrs. M.C. McCutchan of Fresno. She has been feted at a number of pre-nuptial events, since her betrothal of Mr. Walling became known.
Dr. Norman B. Henderson will officiate at the wedding ceremony which will be held at 9 o’clock. Mrs. Johnson will have as her only attendant, her daughter, Miss Joyce Johnson. John Walling will attend his brother as groomsman.
The couple will establish their home in Fresno following their honeymoon.
