Cecil Ernest Elbert, aged 11 months, died of influenza in the influenza hospital last evening, making a third death in the family within a week. The family lives at Othello, where the father, Henry Elbert, is employed on the railroad. Mrs. Elbert and infant son died at the home at Othello last Saturday of pneumonia. The deaths of the three members of the family leaves but two to survive, Mr. Elbert and a 2-year-old son.
Triple funeral services was held this afternoon at 2 o’clock at Turnbull’s parlors followed by burial in Greenwood cemetery. Besides the father, Henry Elbert, and son, Harvey, Mrs. E. Ling of Spokane and Mrs. H. Othello, grandparents of the children, survive.
