Herbert C. Rorick of this city, grand master of Free and Accepted Masons, of New Jersey, has sent by cable to Rome the following message to Ernesto Nathan, grand master of Masons of Italy:
“New Jersey Free and Accepted Masons cordially reciprocate your fraternal sentiments, declaring Italy’s victory and independence.”
The message was in response to one sent from Rome to the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, of New Jersey, by the Italian grand master as a Fourth of July greeting. It was signed by Grand Master Nathan and read:
“In brother bound together anew, for world enfranchisement, we have the day of America’s Independence.”
