A pretty wedding took place this morning at 10 o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E.G. Alling on West Eighth street, West Wyoming, when their daughter, Miss Chattie Alling, became the bride of Lewis Bryden, son of Rev. James D. Bryden, of Dorranceton. The wedding took place in the parlors of the Alling home, which had been prettily decorated. A pretty floral scheme was carried out.
The wedding ceremony was performed by the father of the bridegroom, Rev. Mr. Bryden, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Dorranceton. The couple were unattended.
The bride made a charming appearance in a pretty traveling gown of navy blue. She carried flowers. Immediately after the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to a number of friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Bryden later left on a trip. They will reside at 96 John street, Dorranceton.
The bride and bridegroom are both well known young people and have the best wishes of their many friends. During the past week a number of social functions have been given in honor of the couple.
