WALLING.—In Portland, Oregon, January 15, 1904, Gabriel Walling, aged 67 years and 11 months, of heart failure. Deceased was a native of Illinois and came to Oregon in 1854, when but 18 years of age, settling in Amity with his parents. He leaves five sons and one daughter, among them W.C. Walling and Miss Nellie E. Walling, both of Salem. The funeral will be held at Amity at tomorrow morning. Interment in the Amity cemetery.
