Mrs. Hannah May Bross

Mrs. Hannah May Bross died at the home of her son Floyd, No. 133 Jersey avenue, at 7 p.m. Friday, aged 69 years and six months. She was born near Deckertown. In 1845 she married Eliakim Everett Bross of Montague, N.J.

The surviving children are as follows: Sarah, wife of Eli Mead of this village; Phebe J., wife of Alexander Burrows of Tri-State; Margaret, wife of H. Floyd Decker of Branchville, N.J., and Floyd W., with whom she resided since the death of her husband nine years ago.

She had been a member of the M.E. church for a number of years. She was a worthy woman and a kind and loving mother.

Funeral Sunday afternoon at the Carpenters Point chapel at 3 o’clock. Meet at the house, No. 133 Jersey avenue at 2 p.m.
