Harry Rorick, one of the boys drowned on Sunday last, was laid away yesterday in the cemetery, and there were many sad hearts among the friends who attended the funeral. The services were conducted by Rev. Frank Mitchell. The pall-bearers were Willie Yager, Reuben Salisbury, Eddie Wilson, Birtie Smith, Leland Freeman and Dwight Rue.
On the preceding day another little white casket was borne to the burying-ground and deposited in a flower-bedecked grave. It bore the remains of Charley Grant, the playmate of Harry Rorick, who lost his life at the same time and place, while the boys were bathing in a pond.
The services were conducted by Rev. A.C. Herrick, and the pall-bearers were Leonard Harvey, Raymond Harvey, Chris Rodegerdts, George King, Manual Bernal and John Norman.
