Maude Berilla McCloe was born in Fulton county, Ohio, March 14, 1883. She graduated from the Western high school in Detroit and attended Michigan State Normal College in Ypsilanti. For some time she was connected with the Burroughs Adding Machine Company as office manager in Paris, Texas, and Wichita Falls, Texas. For the last eight years she had been affiliated with the Board of Education in Detroit. She leaves her father, Melvin McCloe, one sister Mrs. A.H. Nimmo and a niece, Virginia Nimmo, to whom she was very devoted.
Her thoughtfulness to others endeared her to many.
She was laid to rest in Oak Grove cemetery in Morenci, beside her mother, who preceded her in death nine years ago.
