Mrs. H. Moylan Feild and Mrs. W. Leroy Garth, La Jollans, will give a sizeable tea from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club in honor of Miss Wendy Wade, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Wade of La Jolla, formerly of Tucson, who will be the bride of Bryant Geoffrey Garth, grandson of the hostess and son of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Garth Jr. of La Jolla. The fashionable wedding will take place June 27 at All Hallows Church and the reception will follow at the Bahia.
The bridegroom-to-be is a junior at Yale University. He and his bride will spend the summer at La Jolla Racquet Club and will make their home in New Haven in the autumn. Moylan Garth, a student at UC-Santa Barbara, will serve his brother as best man. Miss Natalie Garth, a student at Clark University, Mass., sister of the bridegroom-to-be, will be in the wedding party.
Mrs. Harle Garth Damman of Evanston, Ill., aunt of the bridegroom-to-be, has arrived for the tea and will return for the wedding. Her son, Tom Damman Jr., is studying at San Francisco State and her daughter, Terry, lives in Evanston.
Mr. and Mrs. Moylan Feild Gomila (Dudley Braselton) of New Orleans and their small son, Fritz, will arrive for the wedding. Mr. Gomila is the cousin of Mrs. William L. Garth Jr. Mrs. Gomila was a Fort Worth debutante before her marriage.
Mrs. Wade, past president of the Junior League in Tucson, and her daughter, Wendy, left Thursday for Tucson where several parties are being given for the bride-elect.
