I. Willard Alling Dies at Allendale

I. Willard Alling, former Wyoming resident, died at his home in Allendale, N.J. on Saturday morning following a five weeks’ illness.

Mr. Alling was the son of the late E.G. and Rose Burgess Alling of West Wyoming.

After serving for two years as principal of West Wyoming High School, and a term at Belvidere, N.J. he became supervising principal of the Allendale public schools where he had served the last 33 years. He was a member of Allendale Methodist Church and Allendale Masonic orders.

Surviving are his wife, Mabel Quackenbush Alling, one daughter, Dorothy at home and a son, Howard of Rochester, N.Y., also two brothers, John and Ira Alling, two sisters, Mrs. Chattie Bryden and Miss Elizabeth Alling all of Wyoming.

Masonic services will be held at the home tonight at 8 and funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 from the home. Interment will be in Allendale.
