Death Notices from 1932

The body of Mrs. H.P. Search, 60, who died in West Palm Beach, Fla., arrived in Zanesville today and the funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1 o’clock. She is survived by her husband and a brother. (Newark Advocate, March 8, 1932)

Mildred Armstrong, nineteen years old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Armstrong of Burt, formerly of Livermore, died Wednesday, March 9. She has been an invalid for a number of years, an attack of flu ultimately causing her death. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Armstrong of Livermore, drove to Burt to attend the funeral services [l]ast Friday. The funeral for Miss Zbinden was one of the largest ever held in Merrill. The young woman was a high school student of Malin and the student body of the Malin school attended the services. Music was furnished by the Malin high school girls. Fellow students acted as pall bearers. (Klamath Falls Evening Herald, April 2, 1932)

Resolutions of respect to the late Dallas D. Rorick, 88, oldest member of the Jones County Bar association, were adopted by the bar association last week. (Quad City Times, November 28, 1932)
