Death Notices from the 1920s

Mrs. Mahlon Webster passed away in the Corning Hospital on Friday, June 8th. Her funeral was held from the home in Decatur street Monday afternoon. A large number of friends and relatives were in attendance. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, an infant son, father and mother, two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services for Duane Bly, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Francisco, who died Monday afternoon, were held at the home, 635 West Mansion, at 2:30 o’clock this afternoon. Rev. G.H. Wald of the Baptist church officiated and burial was made at the Newton cemetery. (Battle Creek Enquirer, February 21, 1929)
