MORENCI, Mich., Jan. 8.—Mrs. Mary Rorick, aged 76 years, one of the most prominent women in Seneca township, died about 5 o’clock this morning in her home on Main Street here. She has been in failing health for a year but had been confined to her bed only since Monday.
Mrs. Rorick was the widow of Mark C. Rorick, a well-known Seneca township farmer before his death five years ago, and the mother of John P. Rorick of Adrian. She was born in Seneca township and had lived all her life there, spending the last 32 years in Morenci.
She is survived by two children, John P. Rorick of Adrian and Mrs. Earl Baldwin of Howell, Mich., by 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; by one brother, Sylvester Porter of Pasadena, Cal., and by one sister, Mrs. LeRoy Rorick of Morenci.
The funeral will be held in the home here Monday afternoon at 1 o’clock. Burial will be in the cemetery here.
