Mr. and Mrs. Willard C. McConnell announce the engagement of their daughter, Cleantha Parke, to Wylllis Osborn Dodge of Lansing. (Adrian Daily Telegram, January 7, 1918)

Mrs. William Moore Rorick announces the marriage of her daughter, Mrs. Claribel Rorick McGraw, to Lieut. L.W Mueller, of the ordinance department, in the Central Methodist church, in the presence of the immediate families, Lieut. R.W. Baldwin, of the signal corps, being the only attendant. Lieut. and Mrs. Mueller will reside in Decatur, Ill., where Lieut. Mueller is engaged with the Mueller Manufacturing company. (Detroit Free Press, March 22, 1918)

Miss Margaret Gowans is giving a pillow shower for Miss Alma Rorick this afternoon at her home in Richmond Avenue. Miss Rorick is entertaining the out-of-town guests here for the Wilson-Rorick wedding at a dance in her home on Crescent Avenue this evening. Mrs. Jay Franklin Sweeney is giving a supper party of 18 covers tomorrow evening for the bridal party and the out-of-town guests. On Thursday evening Miss Olive Garber entertained 12 guests for Miss Rorick. (The Buffalo Times, June 8, 1918)

For the Wilson-Rorick wedding on June 11th, Miss Madalyn Wilson of Morenci, Mich., came on Thursday from Mt. Molyoke [sic] College and the Misses Eva and Virginia Wilson come this morning from Morenci, who will be guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Rorick. George F. Wilson arrives tomorrow from Providence, R.I., and will be the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Rorick. The Misses Mary and Florence Bryant of Seneca, Mich., come this morning and visit Miss Margaret Gowans of Richmond Avenue. Gerald Bryant of Seneca also arrives this morning and will be the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Franklin Sweeney. (The Buffalo Times, June 8, 1918)
