Wedding This Afternoon

With a company of thirty relatives and immediate friends in attendance, the wedding of Miss Jennie M. Chittenden to Mr. Ellis E. Cleveland was celebrate at 4 o’clock this afternoon. The occasion took place at the residence of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Egbert D. Chittenden, 267 W. Clay avenue. The Rev. Robert N. McNemer, past of the First Baptist church, was the minister.

Attending the bridal couple were Mr. Cleveland’s brother, Mr. Basil Cleveland, and Miss Hannah Rasmussen. The bride wore a wedding gown of blue silk poplin and Miss Rasmussen was dressed in tan-colored cloth.

A wedding supper followed the congratulatory hour. Decorations of white narcissuses gave the room an air of festivity. Immediately after the bridal couple left for a honeymoon trip to Grand Rapids and vicinity. Upon their return they will reside at the Christie block.

Mr. Cleveland is an employee of the Metropolitan Insurance company. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Cleveland, 19 Stanford street.
