DECKERTOWN BANK’S NEW PRESIDENT: The directors of the Farmer’s National Bank of Deckertown have elected cashier Theodore F. Margarum president of the bank, in place of the late J.A. Whitaker. G.S. Holbert was elected cashier in place of Mr. Margarum. C.A. Wilson, who declined the office of president, was elected vice-president. (Middletown Daily Argus, June 10, 1898)
