Douglas J. Mulhern

Douglas John Mulhern, 47, of 13805 Rancheros Drive, died in a local hospital Monday.

A native of Detroit, Mich., he was born Nov. 11, 1925.

Mulhern attended schools in Michigan and came to Reno in 1970. He was the purchasing agent for the Guardian Manufacturing Co. He was a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his widow, George, of Reno; children Susan Mulhern of Stead, Nancy Mulhern of Sparks, Kevin of Ft. Polk, La., and Mary Anne, Brian, Megan, Jack and Allan, all of Reno, and brothers Gordon, Clyde and Donald and sister, Jacqueline Mulhern, all of Detroit.

Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7:30 tonight at the Ross, Burke & Knobel Mortuary. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Church of the Little Flower. Burial will be at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery.
