SALEM (AP) – The search for two Oregon men reported missing on a flight from Lewiston, Idaho to Eugene slowed Tuesday.
Ralph McGinnis, assistant director of the State Board of Aeronautics, said no leads have turned up to aid the search for James L. Gilkey, 44, Eugene, and his father, Jesse S. Gilkey, 76, Dayton. But he said area search directors were instructed to continue the air search.
The men were reported missing late Saturday. They flew to Lewiston on Friday and presumably headed back to Eugene the same day.
