An interesting wedding took place last night in Adrian, Mich., when Miss Ada Rorick McConnell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willard McConnell, became the bride of Mr. Wallace Donald McLean of New York city, formerly of this city.
The ceremony took place at 7 o’clock and was followed by a reception at the home of the bride’s parents.
The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Cleantha McConnell, as maid of honor, and the bridesmaids were the Misses Walby of Adrian, Miss Frances Lay of Oil City, Pa., and Miss Clara Blake of Washington. Mr. Norris W. McLean acted as best man for his brother and the ushers were Mr. William Norris of Catona, N.Y.; Mr. Willian H. Griffin of New York, Mr. Morris Tucker of Memphis and Mr. James J. Elliott of St. Paul, Minn.
Miss McConnell is well known in this city, where she graduated from the Fairmont Seminary.
Mr. McLean is a graduate of Princeton and is well known in this city, where he was identified with a number of the patriotic associations and clubs.
