Letter and Telegram Arrive Same Time

Lincoln—Neighbors and friends of the Tracy Walling family will be interested to know that a message was received last week from their eldest son, George Walling, who left here for points unknown in October.

He arrived at Baltimore from Cape Town, the vessel taking 33 days for the trip.

John Walling, a brother who resides in Salem got a letter from him the same day his parents got the telegram. His letter was dated February 28 from Cape Town.
