Curtis A. McGrew, 69, born of Oregon pioneer parents in Polk county April 4, 1872, passed away in Central Point at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Mr. McGrew has spent practically all his life in Oregon and has resided in Jackson county for the last 31 years. The last two years was spent at Prospect. For many years prior to that he resided at Talent.
Besides his wife, Tresa McGrew, he leaves three sons, Curtis, Melvin and Elroy McGrew, all of Prospect. Also two sisters, Mrs. G.A. Briner of Talent and Mrs. C.A. Ball of Portland. Also two grandchildren, Marjory and Gerald McGrew.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Sherman L. Divine in the Conger chapel at 1 p.m. Saturday with interment in the Talent cemetery.
