Relatives and a few friends will gather in the First Congregational Church this morning at 9 o’clock for the wedding of Mrs. Mittie E. Johnson and Justice Ernest Walling, both of this city.
The bride, who will be attended by her daughter, Miss Joyce Johnson, will wear her traveling costume of navy blue sheer frock with matching cape jacket featured by white net flowers.
She will have a large navy blue straw [hat?] with white pique trim and her corsage will be fashioned of gardenias and lilies of the valley.
Miss Johnson will wear a street frock of aquamarine blue lace with pink hat and other accessories. Her flowers will be a corsage of pink rosebuds.
J.C. Pottle of Fresno will attend Justice Walling as his groomsman and Rev. Norman R. Henderson, pastor, will conduct the service. Prenuptial music will be given by Mrs. Leslie H. Clark and George Clark.
After greeting their guests following the ceremony, the couple will leave for a ten day wedding trip in the north, returning here in oc- [sic] erly [sic] a home at 3711 Platt Avenue.
Justice Walling was appointed in his new office July 1st when he took over the duties in the newly created second justice court of the third township.
His bride is the daughter of Mrs. H.H. McCutcheon of Fresno.
