James J. Printz, 84, of North State street, died at 8 p.m. Monday (Sept. 19) at his home following a long illness.
He was born in Crooksville August 8, 1882, a son of Augustus and Harriet Search Printz. His wife, the former Josephine Ocie, died in 1965. The brothers are also deceased.
He was a retired pottery worker and had last worked at Old Star Stoneware company before retirement.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Margaret (Marion) Wetzel of Columbus, and a brother, Arthur of Reinersville.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fred L. Cannon and Sons Funeral Home in Crooksville with Rev. Talmadge Gregory officiating. Burial will be in Crooksville Cemetery.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
