Ellis C. Walling, 23, late resident of 1565 South Liberty street, at a local hospital Wednesday, January 24. Survived by parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Walling; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Walling; Mr. and Mrs. D.F. Jerman of Tigard; brother, Jesse Walling, jr., of Donald; aunts, Mrs. Gertrude Stewart of Oswego, Mrs. James Mott of Salem, Mrs. Eva Purvine of Amity, Mrs. C. Helms of Portland; uncles Harold Walling and Harlan Jerman of Portland, and Floyd Jerman of San Pedro, Cal. Services will be held from the Clough-Barrick chapel at 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 26. Rev. Guy Drill will officiate with interment at Zena cemetery.
