Friday evening at 8:30 Rev. Sutton officiated in joining in marriage Charles S. Armstrong and Miss Annie E. Crowley at the home of the groom’s parents in Irvington. There was a large crowd present to witness the ceremony and many presents were bestowed upon the contracting parties by their many friends. After congratulations a sumptuous supper was enjoyed by their many friends and the evening spent in friendly social intercourse. Charley, the groom, is the youngest son of Dr. and Mrs. Armstrong and is a bright active young man of fine mental endowments. He will settle down to house keeping with his handsome bride near the old homestead where he was born and raised to manhood. The bride, we learn, is the daughter of respected parents, has lived in the country for several years and is highly esteemed by her friends. The Advance extends congratulations.
